My name is Jack if you hadn’t had guessed! I was born and raised in south London and moved to the country a couple of years ago. I am now in a lovely village called Cross in Hand, which is in East Sussex. It’s 15 minutes from Tunbridge Wells and 30 minutes from Brighton. Maybe the perfect location???

I started my photography adventure when walking into my local Jesups and enquiring on some equipment to take some pictures on a holiday. The sales assistant pointed me in the direction of a DSLR.

After a couple of years of photographing wildlife, landscapes and friends, I began to realise how much I loved capturing images. I found I have a real passion for photographing people as they are hard to predict and it is alway a challenge to capture "the decisive moment" in an expression or an event, but when you do.... well that’s what got me hooked!

My journey into wedding photography started when one of my friends asked that I photograph their wedding. It was a huge ask, but one that I relished; the pressure to capture such a momentous life event was enormous, but I enjoyed it so much, that I haven’t looked back since!

Now I am a man who likes to wholeheartedly throw myself into challenges, so since securing my friends wedding, I quickly turned my focus into learning everything I possibly could about weddings. This proved great fun and soon became my main focus. After a few months of reading and practising everything to do with weddings, I shot my first ceremony. It was a beautiful, clear December afternoon and I was very nervous to say the least! However, the ceremony went brilliantly and my first wedding photography experience was over. I will never forget the feeling of walking out of that registry office feeling amazing!

Since then I have had the pleasure of photographing many weddings. From small intimate ceremonies through to large whole day events. I love how uniquely special each day can be and how couples bring their individualities into their celebrations.
